Hope Flies (lyrics)

I've been tired, gettin no where
Waiting for a better day
Trying so hard; not to fall apart
lost on highways with no name
But I kept moving forward
Lookin for an answer
Throwin deepest doubt away
Cause I'm a true believer
There ain't nothin sweeter
Than a child-like heart willing to say

Hope flies; graceful as a firefly
Bringing color to our night
Letting us know everything is all right
Hope flies; grounded in a certainty
So when we just can't believe
Hope carries you and me.

There's no tellin; what's down the road
Or how we'll ever get that far.
So pull the top down; let the breezes blow
Take some time to gaze at stars
When the night is lonely
And faith isn't a sure thing
Don't let worries fill your mind
Listen to the earth sing
Watch as the darkness brings
A light to fill the sky simply to remind us (chorus)
